LA RED CORREDOR ARRECIFAL DEL GOLFO DE MÉXICO REPORTÓ 96 SITIOS CON PRESENCIA DE CHAPOPOTE, DE LOS CUALES 55 SIGUEN SIN ATENCIÓN
Mientras aún no se sabe quién fue el responsable del derrame, la mancha de hidrocarburo va de Tabasco hasta Veracruz y Tamaulipas, es decir, 93 kilómetros del Golfo de México, de acuerdo con la Red Corredor Arrecifal del Golfo de México, que también reportó 96 sitios con presencia de chapopote, de los cuales 55 siguen sin atención.
El analista político Juan Ortiz señaló que organizaciones ambientales apuntan a Pemex, específicamente del oleoducto Old Ak C, en Cantarell, como responsable, y que, para empeorar, el Gobierno sabía del derrame desde hace un mes pero no hizo nada.
Las propias comunidades han limpiado 14 y en 20 trabajan junto con autoridades. Pemex sólo ha atendido 8.
