Luis Chab Ruiz, dirigente expulsado del Sindicato de Trabajadores al Servicio del Gobierno Municipal, acusó a Jorge Trujeque de ser un “palero” que organizó una asamblea ilegal con apoyo de gente de “El Gallo”. Ruiz señaló que están amparándose para recuperar el sindicato y defender a los trabajadores temerosos de ser despedidos. Criticó a las autoridades municipales por engañar a los trabajadores e imponer a Trujeque, y lamentó la falta de coherencia entre sus palabras y acciones. Además, denunció que Trujeque presentó a solo 221 trabajadores en la asamblea ilegal, cuando el padrón cuenta con 768 socios.
