El último paseo de Carnaval de Ciudad del Carmen se convirtió en momento propicio para la guerra política entre el alcalde Pablo Gutiérrez Lazarus y el empresario Hugo Juárez Lara.
A través de un video, el mocista narró cómo trataron de impedirle que participara, y denunció agresiones hacia él y su esposa por parte de seguidores del edil, a quien retó.
